Holiday Inn Express & Suites Rhinelander by IHG

Very nice hotel to stay at. The room was clean, the pool was relaxing, the hot tub was perfect for the sore body. The staff here was amazing and friendly. Plan on returning to stay here again and hope they have the same staff. Thank you again for the great stay.

Nice clean rooms. The pool and hot tub were pleasant. There’s chairs outside to sit around a fire pit too! A nice relaxing place to rest your head. I would recommend an earlier breakfast time on the weekends.

Perfect for Families, Great Breakfast! We stayed here with our 8 and 3 year olds for a tournament at the Hodag Dome - I think 1.5 miles away. The breakfast buffet was way better than I had thought it would be. A cooler of milk, Oikos yogurt, pre-peeled boiled eggs, fruit cereal, oatmeal, omelets, diced potatoes that were seasoned great, biscuits and gravy, juice, pancake station, pastry area, and actually good coffee! The place was very clean. Dove products in the bathroom. Awesome sheets. We got in too late to try the pool. The staff were great to interact with. I wanted to share so other parents knew about this gem!

Beautiful hotel, love the outdoor fireplace. Pool was clean and perfect for our small group. They have a great coffee bar that is available 24/7. This will be my new place to stay when I visit Rhinelander. I highly recommend.

Great place, super clean. Breakfast was great and had fresh brewed coffee from a machine that ground the beans for each cup. Best hotel in Rhinelander. Highly recommend.

The hotel was great! The room was clean and the front desk was helpful. The breakfast room is kind of tight but had good options. The pool and hot tub were clean and nice. The kids loved it! The gym has good equipment.

I had a wonderful 3-night stay with our youth travel hockey team. Location was great...just a minute away from the rink. From the moment we walked in, everything was welcoming, clean, and comfortable. Staying three nights really gave us a chance to appreciate how consistently well-kept the hotel is. The rooms were spotless, the beds were cozy, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to relax and feel at home. Pool was clean. Hot tub was actually HOT. A very special shoutout to Tina! She was absolutely amazing and incredible. You can genuinely tell she loves her job and takes pride in making every guest feel welcome. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and her positive, friendly attitude truly made our stay even better. It’s rare to meet someone who brings that level of warmth and professionalism every single day. We will definitely stay here again if we make it back to Rhinelander for any tournaments and highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!

I've stayed here twice, both for the annual "SirenCon" event. In 2024 it was a pretty uneventful stay, but in 2025 we ran into a problem with them overbooking the rooms we'd selected (double queen suites) and got stuck with a normal queen room. This was not an ideal situation with how many people we were housing in each room. That being said, the rooms themselves are clean and modern. That being said, after the situation last year, I do not think I will be staying there again for the event. I doubt this would be a problem most days of the year where they are not super busy.
